Amazing Lake Suite

I stayed in the Lake Suite during my visit in March 2024, and it was simply amazing! The huge double bed was incredibly comfortable, and the suite was fully equipped with a kitchen that had everything I needed. I loved the unique design of the kitchen blind that allowed light in while keeping privacy intact. Waking up to the peaceful view of the lakeside was a perfect way to start my day.

Delicious Dining Experience

During my stay in May 2024, I enjoyed every meal at the resort's restaurant. The food was excellent! I indulged in the spicy chicken livers and chicken schnitzel, and both were prepared to perfection. The outdoor seating allowed me to relax and take in the stunning mountain views while enjoying my meal. It was the perfect setting for a good dining experience.

Relaxing Lake Views

In July 2024, I found the perfect retreat at the Dragon Peaks. The suite was not only well-equipped but also offered serene lake views from the patio. I spent relaxing afternoons sipping tea and soaking in the tranquility surrounding the area. Even the weather didn’t dampen my spirits as I enjoyed reading on the patio, truly a leisure lover's paradise!

Family-friendly Fun

I brought my kids along in August 2024, and they had the best time at the resort. The grassy areas provided a safe space for them to play and run around, and the restaurant's outdoor area was perfect for family meals. They loved the horse riding activity offered nearby, which was both safe and enjoyable. It was refreshing to find a place where my children could play freely and make wonderful memories!

My recent camping experience was fantastic! The site had well-maintained trails for hiking and biking, plus a large swimming pool that was a hit with my family. The ablutions were impressive, and we enjoyed the range of activities available. However, I think trimming some of the larger trees would improve the mountain views from the camping area. Still, I can't wait to return soon!

The restaurant offered fantastic food, making it super convenient not to have to cook. While the resort can get busy during long weekends, it felt serene and relaxing. However, I did encounter some service issues during a festive event, which left me feeling a bit disappointed. Overall, it's a lovely place to unwind, but there are definitely areas for improvement.

I had a great experience staying in the Lakeside chalets during the Christmas in the Berg festival. The chalets were clean, modern, and spacious, making for a comfortable stay. However, the dining experience on Christmas Day was unfortunately quite disappointing with a few service issues that really affected the overall enjoyment of the day. Overall, it was a wonderful visit, but there are definitely areas for improvement in the dining services.
